34 Learning the Basics Saving your work ❖ File Allocation Table (FAT) - The computer can access files in a FAT primary partition or logical drive when it is running Windows 2000 Professional, Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, MS-DOS®, or OS/2®. Be sure to use the proper file system when using removable media (such as diskettes or Zip disks) if you are transferring them to computers with other operating systems. Using the Backup Wizard With the Windows 2000 Professional Backup Wizard, you can choose the files and the type of backup you want to perform. 1 Connect the backup device to your computer as shown in the manufacturer's instructions. 2 Click Start, point to Programs, Accessories, System Tools, then click Backup.
