Opening the display panel 1 Press the display release button. 2 Lift the display panel. To avoid damaging the display panel, do not force it beyond the point where it moves easily, and never lift the computer by the display panel. To learn how to rotate the display panel or use your computer in tablet mode. see "Using your computer in tablet mode" on page 66. NOTE While in Primary Landscape mode, you can use FN + Spacebar to change the screen resolution on the fly; from 1450 x 1050 to 1024 x 768 to 800 x 600 (repeated use will recycle the resolutions). For more information, see "Display modes" on page 227. Small bright dots may appear on your TFT display when you turn on your computer. Your display contains an extremely large number of thin-film transistors (TFT) and is manufactured using high-precision technology. Any small bright dots that may appear on your display are an intrinsic characteristic of the TFT manufacturing technology.
