OPTIONAL DEVICES PC cards 3. Check the configuration in the HW Setup window to make sure it is appro- priate for your card. Removing a PC card To remove the PC card, following the steps below. 1. In Windows® XP, open the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the system tray and disable the PC card. 2. Press the eject button of the PC card you want to remove to extend the button. 3. If the battery is completely discharged, it will not begin charging immediately. Wait a few minutes.	191
