10 Connecting to a network wirelessly Connect the unit to a wireless router (access point) or a mobile device by establishing a wireless connection. Note When you connect the unit to a router with a network cable, you need not do this procedure. Selecting the connection method Select a connection method according to your network environment. n Connecting with a wireless router (access point) Connect the unit to a wireless router (access point). You can enjoy Internet radio, AirPlay, or music files stored on media servers (PC/NAS) on the unit. You can also use the application for smartphone / tablet "AV CONTROLLER" (p.8) to control the unit from mobiles devices or enjoy music files stored on mobiles devices on the unit. Note ▪ You cannot use Wireless Direct simultaneously with the wired LAN connection (p.30) or the wireless LAN connection (p.39). ▪ When Wireless Direct is enabled, the unit cannot connect to the Internet. Therefore, you cannot use any kind of Internet service such as Internet radio. ▪ Also the mobile device cannot connect to the Internet, so we recommend you disconnect the mobile device from the unit. Connecting to a network wirelessly
Connect the unit to a wireless router (access point) or a mobile device by establishing
a wireless connection.
Note
When you connect the unit to a router with a network cable, you need not do this procedure.

Connect the unit to a wireless router (access point).

You cannot use the wireless LAN connection simultaneously with the wired LAN connection (p.30) or
