Reference Song Playback Playing Backing Parts with the performance assistant Technology This feature makes it exceptionally easy to play the backing parts along with Song playback. 1 Select a Song (page 43). 2 Press the [P. A. T.] button to turn the feature on. NOTE • Before using performance assistant technology To use the performance assistant technology, the Song must contain chord data. If the Song contains this data, the current chord name will be displayed in the Main display during Song playback, letting you easily check whether the Song contains chord data or not. 3 Press the SONG CONTROL [PLAY/PAUSE] button to start playback. 4 Play the keyboard. The instrument automatically matches your performance on the keyboard to the Song playback and chords, no matter what keys you play. It even changes the sound according to the way you play. Try playing in the three different ways below. ● Playing the left and right hand together (method 1). ● Playing the left and right hand together (method 2). ● Playing the left hand and right hand alternately. Play three notes at the same time with your right hand. Play several notes one after the other with different fingers of your right hand. Play three notes at the same time with your right hand. 5 Press the SONG CONTROL [STOP] button to stop playback. 6 Press the [P. A. Press the [P. A. T.] button to turn the feature on.

Play the keyboard.
