Instrument Panel Controls To keep the lamps on after you leave your vehicle: s Move the slider knob to the right. Once the slider knob is to the right, it controls how long the lamps stay on. s The further you move the slide knob toward the right, the longer the headlamps stay on after you leave your vehicle. Similarly, if you move the slide knob only slightly toward the left, the headlamps stay on for only a moment after you turn your vehicle off. Cleaning the Exterior Lamps Do not use dry paper towel, chemical solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the lamps, as these may cause scratches or crack the lamps. Interior Lamps Lighting Up the Instrument Panel The instrument panel lights can be turned on by turning the headlamp control knob to either the first or second position. You can brighten or dim the instrument panel lights by rotating the dim switch up or down to the desired brightness.
