RWARNING Always disconnect the battery before servicing high current fuses. Ford recommends that high current fuses be replaced by a qualified technician. RWARNING Always replace the cover to the Power Distribution Box before reconnecting the battery or refilling fluid reservoirs. A blown maxi-fuse may be replaced but will continue to blow until the cause of the overload condition is corrected. RWARNING Always replace a fuse with one that has the specified amperage rating. Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating can cause severe wire damage and could start a fire. Relays Relays are devices which receive signals from components or systems. After receiving signals, relays transfer these signals to activate or deactivate other components or systems. One relay box is located with the maxi-fuses near the battery and one is located with the fuse panel under the instrument panel. 350
