The TRACTION ACTIVE light will come on when your traction control system is limiting wheel spin. See "Traction ControlSystem Active Light" in the Index. If your vehicle has the Driver Information Center,the TRACTION CNTL ACTIVE message will appear when your traction control system is limiting wheel spin.
