Battery Replacement Under normal use, the batteries in your key chain transmitter should last about two years. You can tell the batteries are weak the transmitter if won't work at the normal range in anylocation. If you have to get close to your vehicle before the transmitter works, it's probablytime to change the batteries. Trunk Lock To unlock the trunk from the outside,insert the door key and turnit. To replace batteriesin the Remote Lock Control transmitter: 1. Remove the screw from back cover. 2. Lift the front cover off, bottom half first. 4. Reassemble the transmitter. 5.
