Illuminated Entry System When you lift outside handleof either front dooror the open a rear door, the lamps inside your vehicle will go on. These lamps will fade after about40 seconds, or out on when the ignition is turned after all doors have been off, closed. If the ignition was recently turned the lamps will fade out after four seconds. These lamps will also go on when you press DOOR or UNLOCK button the on the optional keyless entry transmitter. Front Reading Lamps(If Equipped) If the ignition has been for less than two minutes, the off lamps inside your vehicle will stay on 15 seconds for when your keyis removed from the ignition switch to provide an illuminated exit. These lamps and the interior courtesy lamps will come on when youopen the doors. To turn on a reading lamp when the doors are closed, off. press the button. Press again to turn the lamp it Front Map Lamps (If Equipped) If your vehicle hasa sunroof, it will have &ew mirror a with lamps builtin. The lamps go on when you open the doors.
