Using the LCD Display Chapter 3 Managing Linksys 900 Series IP Phones LCD Display Controls The LCD display on the SPA900 Series IP phones provides 18 menu options for operating, configuring and monitoring the IP phone. For information about each of these options, refer to Chapter 4, "LCD Command Reference Guide." Figure 3-1 illustrates the main controls on the LCD display. Figure 3-1 SPA900 Series LCD Controls Line status keys Menu continuation indicator Soft keys Navigation rocker button The function of the four soft keys depends on the option appearing on the LCD display. When more than four functions are available, a small left or right-facing triangle (menu continuation indicator) appears at the bottom of the LCD display. This indicates that more soft key functions can be accessed by pressing the Navigation button left or right. To access an option, press the Menu button and press the Navigation button to select the option. Then push the left soft key beneath the Select option to select the option.
