Menu access turned off by system administrator The printer menus cannot be accessed because your system support person disabled the menus. Wait for the message to clear. Menus are Disabled The printer menus are disabled. The printer settings cannot be changed from the printer control panel. Contact your system support person for help. Note: When menus are disabled, it is still possible to cancel a print job, print a confidential job, or print a held job. Must be in Ready state to enter menus The printer menus cannot be accessed at this time because the printer control panel does not show the Ready message. Wait for the printer to complete its activity. When Ready appears, press . Narrow media enabled Narrow media is enabled from the Disable Hardware menu of the Config menu. The printer ignores any sensor concerning narrow media. To clear the message, disable narrow media from the Disable Hardware menu. Consult your system support person for help, if needed. Network/Network /Network , The printer is connected to the network, so the network interface is the active communication link. • Network indicates that the printer is using the standard network port built into the printer system board. • Network indicates that an internal print server is installed inside the printer or that the printer is connected to an external print server. • Network , indicates a network interface is the active communication link, where , indicates the active interface is connected to the printer through channel y on PCI connector x. Menu access turned off by system administrator
The printer menus cannot be accessed because your system support person disabled the menus. Wait for the message
to clear.
Menus are Disabled
The printer menus are disabled. The printer settings cannot be changed from the printer control panel. Contact your
system support person for help.
Note:
When menus are disabled, it is still possible to cancel a print job, print a confidential job, or print a held job.
Must be in Ready state to enter menus
The printer menus cannot be accessed at this time because the printer control panel does not show the

message. Wait for the printer to complete its activity. When

Narrow media enabled
Narrow media is enabled from the Disable Hardware menu of the Config menu. The printer ignores any sensor

The printer is connected to the network, so the network interface is the active communication link.
