Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the thermal shield to the system board.
2.
Remove the screw (M1.6x4) that secures the thermal shield to the I/O board.
3.
Lift the thermal shield off the solid-state drive.
4.
Slide and lift the solid-state drive from the solid-state drive slot (SSD1 or SSD2).
