The EPSONScript Device Options in Windows 95 are described in the table below. EPSONScript Device Options settings Setting General Available printer memory Printer features Resolution improve Error sheet Page Protect Protect Level Toner Save Options Description varies 1269 default Specifies the amount of memory in the printer. Increase the number if you add memory to your printer. Printer's default Off Light Medium Dark Printer's default Off On Printer's default Off On Printer's default 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Printer's default Off On Adjusts the RIT setting for your print job. See Chapter 3 for details. Set to ON if you want a printed record of PostScript errors. Sets the printer to use Page Protect mode for printing complex, memory-intensive documents. Page Protect reallocates printer memory from use for receiving data to use for printing it, making complex jobs take longer to print, but able to print without memory errors. Allows you to increase the amount of memory allocated for page protection. If an overrun error occurs, raise the level from 1 (the default) up to 5. Raising the protect level decreases printing speed. Sets the amount of toner used in your print job. If you're printing a draft copy, set to ON to use around 50% less toner for a lighter printout. 2-6 Printing With the Windows Printer Drivers
