The EPL-N1200 control panel consists of a liquid crystal display, indicator lights, and buttons. The display and lights keep you informed about the printer's current status. You can use the buttons to select settings and functions. Most of the time you control your printer's functions using software. You may, however, need to perform some operations through the printer's control panel as described in this chapter. Note that software settings always override control panel settings. The lights on the panel's left side indicate the current mode.
