Introduction Your EPSON® EPL-N1200 is a PostScript®-compatible, 600-dpi laser printer that uses EPSON's latest quality-enhancement and energy-efficiency technologies to print crisp, clean output at up to 12 pages per minute. The built-in EPSONScript™ Level 2 interface lets you print any document formatted for PostScript output, including professional graphics formats and special effects. Your printer offers a variety of interface options that allow you to connect up to four different computers or network interfaces simultaneously. In addition, you can change the printer's emulation mode from the standard PostScript to Hewlett-Packard® LaserJet 4™ Plus (PCL5e) or four other modes to give you maximum flexibility. The parallel C interface lets you connect the printer to an ECP port on your computer, for even faster printing under Microsoft® Windows® 95. Easy-to-use software for Windows (3.1, 95, or NT 3.51) or MS-DOS® makes it easy to adjust printer settings, even when you're controlling the printer from a remote location on a network. And if the printer is right at your desk, you can change additional settings using the printer's control panel. You can also install a variety of optional equipment in your printer to enhance its operation, such as extra paper cassettes, additional printer memory, and serial and network interfaces.
