Printing Menu All of the SelecType Printing menu settings can be set using your printer driver software and are overwritten by the software settings. You can set all of them, except Resolution, using OneTouch modes as described on page 3-5. Printing menu items Menu item Paper Source Page Size Orientation Copies Manual Feed Resolution Description Selects the tray from which to load paper: Auto (from tray containing paper that matches the Page Size setting below) MP (built-in tray) LC1 (lower cassette 1) LC2 (lower cassette 2) Selects the page size of the image to be produced: A4, A5, B5, LT, HLT, LGL, GLT, GLG, EXE, F4, MON, C10, DL, C5, C6, IB5, CTM ** Selects the print direction on the page: Portrait or Landscape Selects the number of copies to print: 1 to 999 Turns manual feed mode on or off for the built-in paper tray; see Chapter 1 for instructions Sets the print resolution to 600 dpi or 300 dpi * See Appendix A for details on paper sizes and specifications. Tray Size Menu You can use the Tray Size menu to set the size of the paper loaded in the built-in paper tray (MP tray) or to check the paper sizes loaded in optional lower paper cassettes.
