52 Chapter 2 Contacts and Phone Calls 2.3 Answering and Ending Calls When you receive a phone call, the Incoming Voice Call screen will appear, allowing you to either answer or ignore the call. Accepting or rejecting an incoming call To answer a call Press the TALK/SEND button, or fully slide the center button of the Answer/Ignore bar to the left. To reject a call Press the END/POWER button, or fully slide the center button of the Answer/Ignore bar to the right. To mute the ring without rejecting the call Tap Mute Ring or press the VOLUME DOWN button. To reject a call and send a text message You can automatically send a text message to the caller and reject the incoming voice call. Tap Send Text when you have an incoming call, use the preset message or enter another message, and then tap Send. To change the preset message for rejecting calls in your phone settings, open the Phone dialer screen, tap Menu > Options > Advanced tab, and then enter your new preset message in the provided text box.
