Select the appropriate link speed, and then press the OK button. Heartbeat LED The heartbeat LED indicates that the formatter is functioning correctly. While the product is initializing after you turn it on, the LED blinks on/off, on/off, pauses for a short duration, then repeats the sequence. This sequence continues after the product has finished the initialization sequence.
