Removal and Replacement Procedures - Convertible Minitower (CMT) Chassis ✎ The computer automatically recognizes the additional memory when the computer is turned on. To reassemble the computer, reverse the removal procedure. ✎ If you normally lock the Smart Cover Lock, use Computer Setup to relock the lock and enable the Smart Cover Sensor. 6.10 Expansion Cards 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 6.1). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Section 6.5). 3. Locate the correct vacant expansion socket on the system board and the corresponding expansion slot on the back of the computer chassis. 4.
