Removal and Replacement Procedures - Convertible Minitower (CMT) Chassis 6.11 PCI Retainer Latch 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 6.1). 2. Remove the computer access panel (Section 6.5). 3. Locate the correct vacant expansion socket on the system board and the corresponding expansion slot on the back of the computer chassis. 4. Push down and out on the two green thumb tabs inside the chassis and rotate the expansion card retention latch up. 5. Removal and Replacement Procedures - Convertible Minitower (CMT) Chassis
6.11 PCI Retainer Latch
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Section 6.1
).
2. Remove the computer access panel (
Section 6.5
).
3. Locate the correct vacant expansion socket on the system board and the corresponding
expansion slot on the back of the computer chassis.
4. Push down and out on the two green thumb tabs inside the chassis and rotate the expansion
card retention latch up.

Use a thin flat blade screwdriver to pry up on the broken plastic latches
