In some cases the error can be cleared by turning off the power, then turning it on again. A serious print jam has occurred. And requires this action: Turn the power off, then turn it on again. If the message is no longer displayed, the problem has been solved and you can continue using your HP OfficeJet normally. If the message continues to be displayed after powering off and on, there's an internal problem that requires servicing. Please record the 3-digit error number in the message, then contact HP's Customer Support Center to service your HP OfficeJet. Refer to "Getting Help" previously in this chapter for the appropriate phone number. Turn off the power to the HP OfficeJet. Remove the output tray and pull out all wrinkled or torn pieces of paper from the paper path. Also remove wrinkled or torn pieces of paper from the paper tray. Next, replace the output tray and turn on the power. If this message is displayed frequently, contact HP's Customer Support Center for help.
