For HP printer products, the use of a non-HP or refilled print cartridge does not affect either the warranty to the customer or any HP support contract with the customer; print cartridge includes both toner cartridges and ink cartridges. However, if printer failure or damage is attributable to the use of a non-HP or refilled print cartridge, HP will charge its standard time and materials charges to service the printer for the particular failure or damage. The warranty period begins either on the date of delivery or, where the purchase price includes installation by Hewlett-Packard or its authorized dealer, on the date of installation. Warranty Limitations The warranty set forth above is exclusive and no other warranty, whether written or oral, is expressed or implied. Hewlett-Packard specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. However, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness is limited to the one year duration of this written warranty.
