• NiMH batteries discharge when not in use, whether they are installed in a camera or not. If they have not been used for more than two weeks, recharge them before using them again. Even if you are not using your batteries, it is a good idea to charge them every six months to a year to prolong their useful life. • The performance of all rechargeable batteries, including NiMH, will degrade over time, especially if they are stored and used at high temperatures. If battery life has become unacceptably reduced over time, replace the batteries. • The quick recharger may be warm while operating and charging NiMH batteries. This is normal. • NiMH batteries can be left in the quick recharger for any period of time without harm to the batteries.
