Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 34). 2. Remove the two screws on the rear of the computer (1) that secure the cover to the computer chassis. 3. Slide the computer cover forward about 1.3 cm (½ inch), then lift it off the unit (2). Figure 6-7 Removing the Computer Cover To install the computer cover, reverse the removal procedure.
