NOTE: When replacing a drive, use the four retainer screws that were used for the old drive when installing the new drive. To install an optical drive: 1. Follow the procedure above to remove the old optical drive. 2. If necessary, remove the bezel blank covering the 5.25-inch drive bay. 3. Slide the drive into the optical drive bay (1) and secure it in place with the four retainer screws (2). Figure 6-38 Installing the Optical Drive 4. Connect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) to the rear of the optical drive.
