The commands mstdEnable and mstdDisable are allowed only in AD0 and AD255. To display topology discovery status 1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin. 2. Enter the mstdEnable command to enable the discovery feature locally. 3. To clear the management server database
1.
Connect to the switch and log in as
admin
.
2.
Enter the
msplClearDb
command.
3.
Press
y
to confirm the deletion.
The management server platform database is cleared.
Controlling topology discovery
The topology discovery feature can be displayed, enabled, and disabled; it is disabled by default. The
commands
mstdEnable
and
mstdDisable
are allowed only in AD0 and AD255.
To display topology discovery status
1.
Connect to the switch and log in as
admin
.
2.
Enter the
mstdReadConfig
command.
To enable topology discovery
1.
Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2.
Enter the
mstdEnable
command to enable the discovery feature locally.
3.
Enter the
mstdEnable all
command to enable the discovery feature on the entire fabric.
To disable topology discovery

Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2.
Enter the
mstdDisable
command to disable the discovery feature locally.
