REMOVING THE DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY AND THE BELLOWS 6. Using a small screwdriver or a pair of long-nosed pliers, pull the tension spring on the retaining wire out from around the front of the bellows, and remove the wire. Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Turn off the water supply to the washer. 3. Remove the top cover and the console (see page 4-2 for the procedures). 4. Remove the lower front access panel (see step 10 on page 4-11 for the procedure). 5. Open the washer door. Retaining Wire Tension Spring 7. To remove the door switch assembly: a) Pull the bellows off the lip of the front panel beside the door switch assembly just enough to access the switch assembly. b) Remove the two T-20 Torx screws from the door switch assembly. To remove the door switch assembly:
a) Pull the bellows off the lip of the front
panel beside the door switch assem-
bly just enough to access the switch
assembly.
b) Remove the two T-20 Torx screws
from the door switch assembly.
