REMOVING THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR & HEATER b) Loosen the 10 mm nut and pull the temperature sensor out of the heater. 10 mm Nut Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Turn off the water supply to the washer. 3. Pull the washer away from the wall. 4. Remove the rear panel from the washer (see page 4-20 for the procedure). Pull Temperature Sensor Out Of Heater 6. To remove the heater: a) Remove the temperature sensor from the heater (see step 5). b) Loosen (do not remove) the 10 mm nut on the heater. c) Disconnect the two wires and the ground connector wire from the heater. Temperature Sensor & Heater Temperature Sensor & Heater 5. To remove the temperature sensor: a) Disconnect the wire connector from the temperature sensor.
