4 Combining Perfect Binder PB-503 4.13 4 Select the settings for cover print, cover print side, and bind direction. % Cover Print can be set to [ON] when one of [Tray1] to [Tray11] is specified as the cover tray. By selecting [ON], Cover Print Side becomes selectable. % The cover print operations will differ, depending on whether the number of original sheets is odd or even. % When using Creaser Unit CR-101 or Trimmer Unit TU-503 equipped in Saddle Stitcher SD-513, [Previous] and [Next] display at the lower left corner of the screen. Cover trim can be specified in "(1)Cover Fore-edge Trim" and "(2)Cover 2-Side Slit" displayed when [Next] is pressed. See steps 7 to 10 for details. 5 Specify the spine width. % Press [Change Set] on the right side of [Spine Width (1-30 mm)] to display the Spine Width Screen. Use the touch panel keypad, [,], [+], or the control panel keypad to enter the desired value. % This setting is effective with Cover Print set to [ON]. % Press [OK] to restore the Perfect Bind Screen. 6 Make fine adjustments in the lead edge, trimming width, and image position of the cover. % In bizhub PRESS 1250/1250P/1052, press [Change Set] on the right of [Fine Adjustment] to display the Fine Adjustment window, then make adjustments. % In bizhub PRESS C1070/C1070P/C1060/C71hc or bizhub PRESS C1100/C1085, press [Change Set] on the right of [Cover Fine Adj.] to display the Fine Adjustment window, then make adjustments. Press [OK] to restore the Perfect Bind Screen. 7 Press [Next].
