4 Making Folded Booklets: Fold & Staple/Multi Half-Fold 4.3 4.3 Making Folded Booklets: Fold & Staple/Multi Half-Fold 4.3.1 Functional Overview The machine with Saddle Stitcher SD-513 installed provides the following functions. Output mode [Fold&Staple] + [(1)Fore-edge Trimming] set to [OFF] Details Using Booklet as an application function in combination, creates a multiple page signature booklet folded and stapled at two or four positions (saddle stitched) in the center. Illustration [Fold&Staple] + [(1)Fore-edge Trimming] set to [ON] Trims the fore edge of booklets created using [Fold&Staple]. [Multi Half] + [(1)Fore-edge Trimming] set to [OFF] Using Booklet as an application function in combination, doubles up to 5 sheets of printed set. [Multi Half] + [(1)Fore-edge Trimming] set to [ON] Trims the fore edge of doubled sheets created using [Multi Half]. dReference Please check paper information before use. See "Paper Information" (page 2-12) for details. NOTICE The multi half-folded and stapled sets will be delivered onto the bundle exit tray. Set up the bundle exit tray extension, and follow the preparation process before opening the stopper. Failing to carry out the preparation may lead to output sheets falling off the bundle exit tray.
