4 Functions of Printer Driver 4.14 4.14.2 PPD driver (Windows) If this machine is equipped with Saddle Stitcher SD-513 and Creaser Unit CR-101, Trimmer Unit TU-503, or Folding Unit FD-504, Fold & Staple functions can be configured in the [Advanced Options] window. Function Name [Fold] [Spine Corner Forming] Option [Off], [Z-Fold (A3/B4/Tabloid/8K)], [Z-Fold (Legal)], [Fold and Staple], [Fold and Staple + Trim], [Half-Fold - Inside], [HalfFold - Outside], [Tri-Fold-In - Inside], [Tri-Fold-In - Outside], [Tri-Fold-Out - Inside], [Tri-FoldOut - Outside], [Double ParallelFold - Inside], [Double ParallelFold - Outside], [GateFold - Inside], [Gate-Fold - Outside], [Multi Tri-Fold - Inside], [Multi Tri-Fold - Outside], [Multi Half-Fold], [Multi Half-Fold + Trim] Off, On Setting item Set the fold function. Applies pressure to the spine of the folded & stapled booklet, and forms a spine corner. [Spine Corner Forming Strength] [Crease] [Weak+], [Weak], [Normal], [Strong], [Strong+] Off, On [Perfect Binding Cover Trim] Off, On Specify the strength to press the spine when forming a spine corner. Adds creases to fold paper, preventing toner flaking from occurring at the time of paper folding.
