5.1 Tray Setting 5 5.1.2 Tray Setting for PI Trays: Post Inserter of Folding Unit FD-503 The following paper can be loaded into the PI trays: Paper loaded into the PI trays cannot be for copying/printing. - Front covers/back covers/insertions for Insert Sheet - Perfect bind cover - Sheets to be punched/folded/folded and stapled/stapled manually - Cover that is to be put to 2-side slitting bizhub PRESS 1250/1250P/1052 setting Select PI trays from [Tray Setting] on the Machine Screen, then configure the following setting for each PI tray. The air assist setting is not provided. Tray Setting is not necessary for paper to be punched/folded/folded and stapled/stapled manually. Normal Use Setting For the PI tray setting, specify Paper Type and Weight for the normal use setting. For Standard Detect, the paper size loaded in the PI tray will be automatically detected. If the size is not distinctive, the machine identifies one size from the size groups in [Detect Size Setting] so that it can be distinguished from others. dReference The normal use setting procedure is the same as the procedure with no Saddle Stitcher SD-513 installed. See the User's Guide supplied with this machine for details. Tray setting for perfect bind cover If Perfect Binder PB-503 is attached, the paper size, paper type, and weight for perfect bind cover for each PI tray can be specified in advance. To configure various settings, use "Perfect Bind Cover Setting". Each setting can be viewed on the Machine Screen. When Trimmer Unit TU-503 is equipped in Saddle Stitcher SD-513, 2-side slitting can be performed on perfect bind cover. dReference The tray setting procedure for perfect bind cover is the same as the procedure with no Saddle Stitcher SD513 installed.
