Function Descriptions E-mail transmission The scanned data is attached to e-mail as a TIFF-F, JPEG or PDF file, then sent to a computer or Internet fax terminal through an intranet or the Internet. FTP transmission The scanned data is uploaded to an FTP server as a TIFF-F, JPEG or PDF file. In addition, if an e-mail address is specified, the specified recipient can be notified by e-mail of the FTP transmission at the same time that the data is uploaded to the FTP server. HDD (hard disk drive) transmission The scanned data is saved on the HDD (hard disk drive) as a TIFF-F, JPEG or PDF file. Internet faxing The scanned data is sent to a computer or Internet fax terminal though an intranet or the Internet as a TIFF-F file. In addition, an Internet fax can be received.
