4049-XXX Engine Board Removal 1. Check the page count and write it down so you can set the count on the new engine board. 2. Turn the printer off. 3. Remove the RIP board and the inner EMC shield together. 4. Disconnect the engine board cable connections. 5. Remove the nut and the three threaded standoffs. 6. Unsnap the board from the plastic standoff. 4-15

Engine Board Removal
1.
Check the page count and write it down so you can set the
count on the new engine board.
2.
Turn the printer off.
3.
Remove the RIP board and the inner EMC shield together.
4.
Disconnect the engine board cable connections.
5.
Remove the nut and the three threaded standoffs.
6.
Unsnap the board from the plastic standoff.
