LOADING 1 VCR OPERATION 2 Push the center of the tape until it is automatically retracted into the VCR. AUTOMATIC POWER ON The VCR will turn on automatically. When loading a cassette tape without the erase prevention tab intact, press the PLAY/PAUSE ®P button to begin playback. An inverted video cassette cannot be inserted. If the unit is in DVD mode, press the VCR/DVD button (on the main unit) or VCR Button (on the remote) to change the unit to VCR mode, then press the PLAY/PAUSE ®P button to start tape playback. UNLOADING 1 2 To unload a video cassette, press the EJECT button on the unit or press the OPEN/CLOSE/EJECT button on the remote control; the tape will stop and it will eject out. Pull the cassette out. The EJECT button can be pressed even when the power is off and the tape will be ejected. Always eject the tape when not in use. TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL ERASURE 1 Erase Prevention Tab After recording, break off the erase prevention tab if you do not wish to record over the tape. TO RECORD AGAIN Cover the hole with vinyl tape. Be careful the tape does not extend past the edges of the video cassette housing. TAPE SPEED AND MAXIMUM RECORDING TIME 1 Tape Speed SP SLP T-60 1 hour 2 hours Cassette T-120 2 hours 4 hours T-180 3 hours 6 hours Press the SP/SLP button to select the recording speed. Speed selection is automatic during playback. The "SP" mode is recommended for recording music programs. 29

VCR OPERATION
TAPE SPEED AND MAXIMUM RECORDING TIME
Press the SP/SLP button to select the recording speed.
Speed selection is automatic during playback. The "SP"
mode is recommended for recording music programs.
