Press the OK button to start formatting. "FORMATTING" appears on the screen. ● The mode is canceled afterwards. ● No other operation can be performed while formatting. Note: x Formatting a card erases the existing data. Be careful not to erase important data when formatting a recorded card. x When the write-protect adhesive seal is placed on the card, the Card error mark on the control panel blinks, and FORMAT CARD is not engaged. x Formatting the card from the camera is recommended for best results.
