By pressing this key repea tedly you can see the individual segments of the pattern which are embroidered with various colours. At the same time the number of the colour also appears; e.g. col 1, col 2, col 3 It is also possible to embroider these segments individually (see page 28). I I - __:, - _ L- i Pressing key 9 underneath this symbol allows you to skip back 6 stitches, e.g. in the case of a thread breakage. After pressing this key the following message appears: "Activate foot pedal, pattern skips back 6 stitches" Press the foot pedal briefly. The machine skips back 6 stitches. You can continue embroidering the pattern from this position. Pressing key 0 underneath this symbol allows you to skip forwards one or more stitches. This is necessary when the starting position has been overshot when returning to the pattern start. 21
