Video player With Video player, you can watch clips stored on your phone as well as streaming video from Internet. For a list of supported media formats, see Technical data on page 99. Note: Copyright-protection may prevent content from being copied, modified or transferred. If a file is copyright-protected, or if an access key has expired or is unavailable, an icon is displayed by the file name. To play a video clip 1. Select Entertainment > Video 2. Navigate to the clip you want to watch. 3. Select Play or press the Jog Dial to start playback. To play streaming video Provided you have an Internet account set up, you can also watch video streams from the Internet. Select More > Open URL and enter the address to the streaming content. You can save shortcuts to streaming content. They are stored in Entertainment > Online media. Playback controls Press the Play/stop button, or ABC to play or stop. Press the and DEF keys or press and hold the Volume button to skip to previous or next clip. Press the Jog Dial, tap the screen, or select Expand to switch to full screen view. Tap the screen or press the Jog Dial to return to normal view. Tap on the progress bar or rotate the Jog Dial to move backwards and forwards within the clip. Bookmarks You can set a bookmark in a video clip, and resume viewing from that position at a later time. From playback view, select More > Bookmark > Save position. The next time you open the clip, select Resume. Manage clips Select how the clips are sorted in More > Sort by. To move, copy, delete or rename clips, select More > Manage files. Preferences Select More > Settings > Preferences to access the following settings: View mode Select if you want video clips to open in portrait or landscape view as default. With Video player, you can watch clips stored

Note:

To play a video clip
1.
Select
Entertainment > Video
2.
Navigate to the clip you want to watch.
3.
Select
Play
or press the Jog Dial to start
playback.
To play streaming video
Provided you have an Internet account set up,
you can also watch video streams from the
Internet. Select
More > Open URL
and enter
the address to the streaming content. You can
save shortcuts to streaming content. They are
stored in
Entertainment > Online media
.
Playback controls
Press the Play/stop button, or

stop. Press the

You can set a bookmark in a video clip, and

Manage clips
Select how the clips are sorted in
More >
Sort by
.
To move, copy, delete or rename clips, select
More > Manage files
.
Preferences
Select
More > Settings > Preferences
to
access the following settings:

Select if you want video clips to open in

Original
