Getting Started Step 7: Inserting a memory card 1 Open the cover in the direction of the arrow. The clock starts. • Set [DST SET]/[SUMMERTIME] to [ON] to move the time forward 1 hour. • You can set any year up to the year 2037. • For midnight, set it to 12:00 AM. For midday, set it to 12:00 PM. z Tips • The date and time are automatically recorded on the selected memory card, and can be displayed during playback (DATA CODE button, p. 49). Changing the language setting You can change the on-screen displays to show messages in a specified language. Press the MENU button and select (OTHERS) with the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial. Select the screen language in [LANGUAGE] (p. 80). 2 Orient the memory card's notched corner as shown in the illustration, and insert into the memory card slot until it clicks. notched corner as shown in the
illustration, and insert into the
memory card slot until it clicks.
