Notes on use Types of memory cards you can use in your camcorder You can use "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media, "Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo" media, SD memory cards, and SDHC memory cards in your camcorder. You cannot use a MultiMedia Card. • "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media and "Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo" media are both called "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media in this manual. • See page 95 for the recordable time of memory cards. • Up to 32 GB of memory cards are confirmed to be used with your camcorder. Types of "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media you can use in your camcorder • It is recommended to use "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media of 1 GB or larger marked with: - PRO Duo" media)* ("Memory Stick - ("Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo" media) * Marked with Mark2 or not, either can be used. "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media/"Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo" media (This size can be used with your camcorder.) b Notes • "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media can be used only with "Memory Stick PRO" media compatible equipment. • Do not attach a label or the like on "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media or a "Memory Stick Duo" media adaptor. • When using a "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media with "Memory Stick" media compatible equipment, insert the "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media into the "Memory Stick Duo" media adaptor. Using the camcorder • Do not hold the camcorder by the following part. Lens hood LCD panel Internal microphone Microphone (sold separately) or Microphone holder "Memory Stick" media (You cannot use it in your camcorder.) Viewfinder b Notes • The camcorder is not dustproof, dripproof or waterproof. See "About handling of your camcorder" (p. 102). • Connect cables to your camcorder with their terminals placed the correct way.
