DISPLAY SET Menu item DATA CODE GAMMA DISP ASSIST LCD BRIGHT VF COLOR TEMP. Sub-items/Settings Description OFF, DATE/TIME, Selects the information that is displayed during CAMERA DATA playback. OFF: No information is displayed. DATE/TIME: The date and time are displayed. CAMERA DATA: Camera data is displayed. ON/OFF ON, OFF Sets whether to convert the image displayed on the viewfinder or LCD screen to close to TYPE normal video when shooting using a picture AUTO, profile with S-Log or HLG (p. 57). S-LOG2 t 709(800%), ON/OFF: Turns the gamma display assist S-LOG3 t 709(800%), function on/off. HLG(BT.2020), HLG(709) TYPE: Sets the type of conversion. • Movies shot using S-Log2 or S-Log3, which require editing in post production, have images shot with low contrast that make live monitoring difficult. Movies shot using HLG/ HLG1/HLG2/HLG3 also have low contrast when displayed on the viewfinder or LCD screen, which do not support HDR, and movies shot using BT.2020 color mode have washed out colors. To counter this, you can use [GAMMA DISP ASSIST] to obtain the contrast and color reproducibility that is close to normal video for display on the viewfinder and LCD screen to make monitoring easier. • This function affects only the monitoring video or playback video displayed in the viewfinder or on the LCD screen. The recorded video and output video are not affected. NORMAL, BRIGHT Adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen. • Changes in the LCD brightness do not affect the brightness of recorded images. -2/-1/0/+1/+2 (0) Sets the color temperature of the viewfinder.
