Setting the output destination when recording in 4K mode You can select the output for the video signal when recording in XAVC S 4K. • If recording in XAVC S 4K is started with [4K REC OUTPUT] set to [EXTERNAL OUTPUT], then [LCD BRIGHT] is set to [NORMAL]. • Any one of the following functions can be used while recording in XAVC S 4K. - 4K REC OUTPUT - FACE DETECTION - Proxy recording 1 Press the MENU button. 2 Select (REC/OUT SET) t [VIDEO OUT] t [OUTPUT SELECT] t [4K REC OUTPUT]. 3 Select the output destination. VF/LCD PANEL Output to viewfinder/LCD screen. EXTERNAL OUTPUT Output to an external device. b Notes • The [4K REC OUTPUT] settings are enabled only when the file format is XAVC S 4K. • The picture being recorded is not displayed on the viewfinder/LCD screen when [4K REC OUTPUT] is set to [EXTERNAL OUTPUT]. Also, [NIGHTSHOT LIGHT] is set to [OFF]. • The picture is output to the viewfinder/LCD screen when recording and streaming, even when set to [EXTERNAL OUTPUT]. 41

•
The [4K REC OUTPUT] settings are enabled

•
