Setting a privacy mask To set a privacy mask in a desired position, do the following: 1 Move the camera to the position you want to set a privacy mask using the control panel. 2 Click the point where you want to set the privacy mask on the viewer. The clicked point moves to the center of the image. 3 Specify the privacy mask area by dragging the mouse on the viewer. The privacy mask area is a rectangle that is symmetrical with respect to the center of the viewer. 4 Select the color or mosaic of the mask from the Color drop-down list. Note The color is common to every privacy mask. The color last selected is applied. 5 Select the desired privacy mask number in the privacy mask setting section, and then click Set of the corresponding number. The mask is displayed on the viewer. Note The mask cannot be set on the viewer by clicking Set if the camera is tilted beyond +70°. Privacy mask setting range The setting range of the privacy mask is limited as follows: Pan angle: No limit 360° Tilt angle: -15° to +65° -15° +65° Note The privacy mask area is a rectangle that is specified with respect to the center of the camera image. Setting a privacy mask
To set a privacy mask in a desired position, do the
following:

Move the camera to the position you want to set a
privacy mask using the control panel.

Click the point where you want to set the privacy
mask on the viewer. The clicked point moves to the
center of the image.

Specify the privacy mask area by dragging the
mouse on the viewer.
The privacy mask area is a rectangle that is
symmetrical with respect to the center of the
viewer.

Select the color or mosaic of the mask from the
Color
drop-down list.
Note
The color is common to every privacy mask. The
color last selected is applied.

Select the desired privacy mask number in the
privacy mask setting section, and then click
Set
of
the corresponding number.
The mask is displayed on the viewer.
Note
The mask cannot be set on the viewer by clicking
Set
if
the camera is tilted beyond +70°.
Privacy mask setting range
The setting range of the privacy mask is limited as
follows:
Pan angle:
No limit
Tilt angle:
-15° to +65°
Note
