4 Replacement Procedures 4.1 General Colors of Screw Shanks For easy identification of the correct screws, the screw shanks are colored according to their lengths, as follows: ? Screws of an even-numbered length Brown ? Screws of an odd-numbered length White ? Screws of a special length Black Screws of a special length are those of a length having decimal places, such as 2.5 mm and 2.6 mm.
