Chapter 6 Exploring Your Options In this chapter, you will explore some of the special features of your Satellite Pro notebook computer. Setting up your printer When you turned on your computer for the first time, the Windows® Setup program offered you the opportunity to define a printer. Read this section if you did not do so, or if you want to set up a different printer. Setting up a printer involves choosing a printer driver. This special program acts as a translator that turns your work into a form the printer can understand. This section describes how to select a printer driver in the Windows® 2000 operating system. If you are using any non-Windows® programs, you need to set up a printer driver for each of those programs. Refer to your program's documentation for more information. 121
