AC Power Cord and Connectors The power cord's AC input plug must be compatible with the various international AC power outlets and the cord must meet the standards for the country/region in which it is used. All cords must meet the following specifications: Wire size: Minimum 0.75 mm2 Current rating: Minimum 2.5 amperes Certification agencies China: CQC U.S. and Canada: UL listed and CSA certified No. 18 AWG, Type SVT or SPT-2 Australia: AS Japan: DENANHO Europe: Austria: OVE Italy: Belgium: CEBEC The Netherlands: Denmark: DEMKO Norway: Finland: FIMKO Sweden: France: LCIE Switzerland: Germany: VDE United Kingdom: IMQ KEMA NEMKO SEMKO SEV BSI In Europe, two conductors power cord must be VDE type, H05VVH2-F or H03VVH2-F and for three conductors power cord must be VDE type, H05VV-F. For the United States and Canada, two pin plug configuration must be a 2-15P (250V) or 1-15P (125V) and three pin plug configuration must be 6-15P (250V) or 5-15P (125V) as designated in the U.S. National Electrical code handbook and the Canadian Electrical Code Part II.
