1000DS STANDARD rebound damping setting (1): turn the adjuster all the way in (clockwise), then slacken by 2 turns. STANDARD setting of adjuster (2): turn the adjuster all the way in (clockwise), then slacken by 2 turns. The preload on the external spring of the shock absorber can be adjusted using the adjusting knob (3) on the right of the frame, and following the values shown on the knob itself. The STANDARD setting is when the adjusting knob is in the minimum (LOW) position. STANDARD length of the preloaded spring on the shock absorber: 165 mm.
