11. If the child is sleeping or tries to get out of the child seat, pull shoulder belts fully out to put the retractor into the lock mode. At this time, the shoulder belts are in an automatic lock mode. Allow belts to tighten snugly against the child's shoulders. The belt will automatically lock and cannot be pulled out.
