MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 109 Compression Damping Adjuster Settings Spring Preload Adjustment (Right Fork only) adjust the spring preload, turn the adjuster on • To the right front fork top plug with a wrench. Adjust the spring preload to suit your preference under certain conditions. j NOTICE Do not force the spring preload adjuster beyond the fully seated position, or the adjusting mechanism may be damaged. A. Seated Position (Adjuster Turned Fully Clockwise) B. Softer (Counterclockwise) C. Harder (Clockwise) D. Standard Setting *: Number of turns counterclockwise usable range 22 clicks or more. Standard Compression Setting 7 clicks* Damping Adjuster A. Spring Preload Adjuster B. Right Front Fork Top Plug *: Counterclockwise from the fully seated position
